Topic 1
Globally organizing a Supply Chain Strategy

Supply chain efficiency aims to satisfy final customers and to maximize profits of all partners along the value chain. In order to do so, supply chain strategy must be planned globally, from the supplier’s supplier to the customer’s customer and based on both information technology and collaboration. Setting-up a supply chain strategy needs further planning process and key performance indicators. Each partner’s total implication in the supply chain network further creates the need to find common accord on major supply chain strategies.

Topic 2
Optimizing Supplier Relation Management

In order to stand out in an unstable economy, companies have no other choice but to create value. Developed collaboration with suppliers and implementation of new tools are opportunities allowing an increase in reactivity towards both overall market and business global performance.

Implementing partnerships, Key Performance Indicators, shared market places, and developing e-sourcing lead to optimizing supplier relation management.

Topic 3
Successful Distribution Strategies.

A successful supply chain orientated distribution policy must be defined by several strategical focus points : customer orientated supply chain networks, collaboration with value adding service providers, logistics organization in partnership with customers with the use of tools such as :
  • Sharing a common view on integrated and high performance logistics processes,
  • Sharing real time data related to sales and transport,
  • Implementing logistics hubs,
  • Choosing a logistics service provider to drive the supply-chain.
